Hatch is supporting Macquarie Bank to find a great Sales Development Associate - Business Banking to join their Sales and Customer Success team. **About the role at Macquarie Bank**

As a Sales Development Associate, you will partner with the Business Banking Business Development Managers and industry sales leaders to help fill their pipeline and create a trusted advisor relationship between the bank and prospective client. In this phone based role, you will be responsible for receiving digitally acquired leads, making outbound calls, supporting our industry teams at events and conferences, researching the prospective client and qualifying new opportunities with an understanding of the clients’ business and personal needs. In your work you will be leveraging technology like Salesforce and LinkedIn.

**Seniority**

Entry Level - A role for someone with underlying potential, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically no direct experience is required.

**Responsibilities**
- Outbound Prospecting - Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers
- Sales Team Enablement - Identify opportunities to enhance processes and resources that enable team performance and time spent with prospects or customers
- Sales Pipeline Management - Efficiently navigate the CRM and other operational tools to create, update, retrieve, and understand information about accounts and opportunities
