**Are you a passionate science communicator with a knack for making complex topics understandable?**

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our Science Communication Team and play a vital role in achieving our organizational goals.

**In this role, you will**:

- **Be the science guru**: Leverage your expertise to develop clear and engaging communication materials for diverse audiences.
- **Craft compelling content**: Create documents, plans, and other resources that effectively explain complex scientific concepts.
- **Bridge the communication gap**: Translate technical information into plain English, ensuring consistency with our messaging strategy.
- **Collaborate effectively**: Work alongside colleagues across the organization to develop and implement communication plans.
- **Foster open communication**: Actively seek and share knowledge with internal and external stakeholders.

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Strong understanding of science communication principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for various audiences.
- Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and concise language.
- Proven experience developing engaging communication materials.
- Collaborative spirit and a commitment to teamwork.

**Key Skills**
- Project planning and management skills
- Visual design skills in Canva, producing Instagram reels and other video content for social media
- Photography and videography skills Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software such as Final Cut or Clip Champ.
- Desirable: Experience with planning and audio editing for podcasts
