**About the Team**:
Our Thought Leadership and Engagement function supports our strategic planning and innovation precinct work through setting up the Greater Cities Commission (GCC) to respond to the big issues raised by our cities and our time. World class strategic engagement with our community, industry and government stakeholders; insights gleaned from consultation and research; and powerful and compelling communications enable the GCC to be an exemplar in collaboration, complex problem solving and forward thinking.

**The Opportunity**:
Right now, we have an opportunity for an innovative Manager Digital Content Strategy to join the Strategic Communications team within the Thought Leadership and Engagement function.

This position will be the driving force in championing social and content strategy across our digital channels. With a proven digital strategic mind, you’ll be the driving force creating content strategies to encourage engagement, support business objectives and grow our online community. You’ll work collaboratively across the business to distill complex policy and planning information into digital stories using rich media, video, animations and graphics.

You will be part of a very exciting team in a flexible workplace environment. You will get to try new things, think creatively, and bring new ideas to your work. You will create digital content to help grow and shape our cities.

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

- Creating detailed digital content strategies to guide the development of engaging, shareable and high-quality digital content.
- Managing the digital campaign calendar and developing integrated communication messages to support content pillars and business objectives.
- Identifying new trends, cutting-edge technology and experimental content formats for campaign engagement.
- Ensuring digital content is inclusive and accessible.

We offer hybrid working arrangements (approximately 2 days in office a week) and you may be required to come to Parramatta regularly. You need to be willing and have capacity to undertake some out of hours work as required.

**About you**:
This role works with multiple stakeholders and teams across the Commission, so a professional approach and ability to multi-task under pressure is essential.

You enjoy the interesting dynamic nature of what you do, and you bring a natural curiosity and creativity to your work. You don’t accept the status quo and you strive to continuously push boundaries and produce a better result.

Prior government experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

Our role is to coordinate and align the planning that will shape the future of our cities, accelerate the delivery of key innovation districts and lead discussion on major city-shaping issues. The six cities region includes the Lower Hunter and Greater Newcastle City, the Central Coast City, the Illawarra-Shoalhaven City, the Western Parkland City, Central River City and Eastern Harbour City.

The Commission is a statutory body and reports directly to the NSW Government. We are an independent agency within the Transport and Infrastructure cluster.

**Salary**: Clerk Grade 9/10 ($113,343 to $128,061) plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
