The Guhring Group is a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools with a global network of manufacturing sites and service centres. Customers from the automotive & aerospace industries as well as the machine tool and metalworking sectors rely on the trend-setting technologies developed by Guhring, worldwide. The Australian subsidiary was established in 1989 and has since grown to a leading technology provider in Australia. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring graphic/multimedia designer to support Guhring’s Trade and Service division in creative advertising/marketing activities.

**The internship is a casual position of 8-16 hours per week with flexible work hours.**

**Skills and experience**:

- A high level of proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is essential (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dream Weaver).
- Solid Web Design/Creation skills as well a knowledge of back-end coding will be highly regarded.
- An understanding of Google Analytics will be highly regarded but is not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and further develop Guhring Australia’s online content.
- Develop and deploy monthly e-newsletters, creating both written and visual content.
- Develop special marketing flyers for targeted groups.
- Create editorials and full-page advertisements for technical magazines.
- Develop creative ideas to support the Sales team.
- Use Google analytics to analyze and report web-site traffic.
