As a **Data Governance Business Partner**, you will be directly responsible for improving the data maturity of ART through the delivery of Data Governance and Data Quality services at an enterprise scale.

Day to day, you'll:

- Be the go-to for business units, guiding them to get the most out of their data while aligning with ART’s governance frameworks
- Help the business mitigate data-related risks and stay compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Implement data governance frameworks and ensure everyone across the business is on the same page (or spreadsheet )
- Lead data literacy initiatives and champion continuous improvement
- Assess and boost our data culture and maturity levels using qualitative and quantitative techniques
- Educate stakeholders on the wonders of data governance through workshops, forums, and through the development and maintenance of compliance training
- Drive change management initiatives that embed data governance practices, one project at a time.

**About you**
It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you’ll tick some of the following boxes too:

- Demonstrated knowledge of Data Management frameworks, particularly Data Governance: DAMA, APRA CPG-235.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks.
- Expertise in the data lifecycle and associated development principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Business Leaders and Executives.
- Proven ability to work closely with internal and external customers to drive business outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify key issues and recommend appropriate courses of action.
- Certification in Data Management (e.g., CDMP) or Information Management (e.g., CIP).
