Deepening the engagement, planning and delivery of our strategy for place-based education, you will have the opportunity to:

- Lead a conversation across our community and envisage a data-driven Campus Life strategy for the south that reflects and respects the diverse needs of our students, staff and community.
- Activate student engagement across our southern precincts, leading diversity informed strategies that support student social inclusion and wellbeing.
- Engage with regional schools to develop educational pathways and strategies that enhance student participation, retention, and attainment.
- Advocate for the academic needs of reshaping our campuses and ensure the academic elements our developments are well conceptualized and delivered.

**What’s Required**
- Strong coalition building and consultation skills and an ability to engage effectively with diverse and non-academic internal and external stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of trends in higher education and a track record of developing effective and sustainable academic responses to challenges and opportunities.
- Success as an effective leader at a School, College or university level with capacity to engage and advocate for academic needs.
- Advanced capability in report writing, financial literacy, and presentations across a range of academic and business contexts to translate vision to actionable strategy.

This career-defining senior management opportunity will be based in Hobart in the south of our island State, on a full-time ongoing basis. A competitive base salary will be in addition to 17% superannuation, salary packaging options, and relocation support for those considering a move to Tasmania.
