HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled **APS6 Level Fraud Investigator** (Labour Hire) to join our client's team in **Surry Hills Sydney.**
**About the Role**:
As an **APS6 Level Fraud Investigator** (Labour Hire), you'll be at the forefront of detecting and responding to internal and external payment fraud against the Scheme. Here's what you'll be responsible for:

- Conducting complex criminal investigation activities in line with our client's processes and Australian Government Investigation Standards, utilising your Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent.
- Interviewing, preparing statements, and managing evidential material with utmost confidentiality.
- Preparing comprehensive cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant authorities.
- Representing our client in criminal and civil courts, providing expert evidence.
- Analysing information to produce accurate reports and contributing to project work as required.
- Engaging with our Client's staff, partners, participants, and third parties through formal and informal discussions.
- Assisting with the execution of search warrants, which may involve domestic air travel and overnight stays.

**About You**:
**To excel in this role, you'll need**:

- Proven experience in conducting complex investigations, ideally within a government setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and briefs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously under limited direction and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and work extended hours when necessary.
- Understanding of legislative requirements and policy frameworks relevant to fraud investigation.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at **"Negative Vetting Level 1"**
