Due to a recent promotion we are looking for a People Partner to join Rest's People Partnering & Advisory team, reporting to the Head of People Partnering & Advisory, you will be a trusted strategic adviser who will drive delivery of Rest's people strategy to enable business performance.
- Drive the development and implementation of agreed talent, culture, reward and capability strategies, processes and procedures to deliver strategic objectives.
- Provide responsive advice, support and coaching to leaders on policy matters related to workforce management, recruitment, talent retention and development, engagement, performance and reward (including goal setting), employee relations, wellbeing, collaboration and teamwork, organisational design and structure and complaint resolution.
- Provide feedback and actively coach leaders to improve leadership capability, create strong working relationships, build morale, foster development and increase retention.
- Partner with P&C Centres of Excellence (e.g. Organisational Capability & Experience; and People, Solutions & Services) to ensure a coordinated, partnership approach to the implementation of agreed projects
- Share data and people insights with respective leadership teams.
- Participate in committee, team and cross functional meetings as required

**Qualifications**
- Qualifications in human resources management or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Previous experience working in the Financial Services industry (e.g. superannuation, insurance, banking, wealth management) strongly desirable
- Ability to effectively challenge people, situations and current thinking; and give real time, constructive feedback
- Demonstrated experience in People & Culture functions including:

- Business partnering
- Coaching and mentoring
- Change management
- Management of employee relations’ issues
- Talent strategy including attraction, selection and retention
- Culture strategy including cultural integration
- Performance management
- Remuneration, reward and recognition
