**The Role**:
Based in our Mascot office, the facilities officer’s role is to continuously lead in creating a vibrant functional world for our teams ensuring the day-to-day smooth management and operation of 5B’s HQ facilities.

This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with people and thrives on diversity in their daily activities.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Supporting the users of 5Bs HQ space - our people
- Coordination with internal maintenance personnel to solve issues and keep our space sparkling
- Contractor management, including engagement of qualified contractors to complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Administration and support in the management of the security and access systems
- Event organisation and facilitation and assisting with technology set-up
- General facilities ordering, inventory control and organisation
- Reporting for facilities management
- Tracking expenses and coordinating with external vendors
- Provide input into site operational and capital forecasts
- Maintain positive relationships with landlords and building managers
- Generate and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules for the office and residence
- Complete monthly site audits, organise maintenance arising from audit
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure facilities meet business requirements
- Manage a booking system for 5Bs local accommodation residences, manage contractors and and ensure guests feel safe and welcome when visiting
- Support and assist the operation of 5Bs Cleantech coworking space

- Experience working in a similar role would be a bonus.
- Experience managing contractors and office space.
- Ability to create reports to capture operational data
- Ability to liaise and establish rapport at ALL levels of the business
- High emotional intelligence; resilient
- Work collaboratively and have great stakeholder relationship management capability
- Ability to lead activities to successful delivery of scope and to operate both independently and effectively as as part of a team
- Operate a task management system and hence effectively manage conflicting priorities
