A wonderful opportunity exists for an experienced Practice Manager to join a vibrant team of a highly regarded private Paediatric Specialists in the leafy suburb of Frankston. This well-established practice continues to grow priding itself in providing excellent, evident based paediatric care with the interest of the children at heart.

The role involves the opportunity to provide day-to-day high-level management across a range of business and patient portfolios to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice, and to provide exceptional standard of care to the patients. You will be strongly supported by the Director and work closely with the Reception/Admin team as you care for the visiting doctors and allied health professionals.

**Particulars of the position include**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Practice Management
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Ability to build and maintain professional rapport with patients, and all stakeholders of the business.
- A genuine commitment to excellence
- High level IT proficiency - ideally Genie medical software, MYOB, Windows and Microsoft Teams
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities, outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously within the business.
- Be professionally presented, deliver excellence in customer and stakeholder service.
- Knowledge of HR management
- Rostering and provision of leadership for the reception team

**The Practice Manager role and responsibilities include**:

- Report to director
- Drive and participate in practice planning activities with director and teams.
- Plan and run team and practice meetings.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and patient data in a timely fashion.
- Manage budgets.
- Manage administrative patient journey.
- Assist visiting doctors with their needs within the practice and capture/document clinicians’ preferences.
- Manage practice fee schedules, front desk income recording and banking activities.
- Deal with billing queries and submit/clarify Medicare claims.
- Staff rosters
- Overseeing staff performances
- Provide guidance to reception/admin team on all practice policies and provide leadership for the team.
- Manage any complaints promptly.
- Managing invoicing of consulting room leases
- Managing maintenance of the IT environment and troubleshoot/escalate IT issues.
- Manage practice physical environment including COVID safe procedures and cleanliness of the practice.

Annual Salary Package for the Practice Manager position to be negotiated. Ultimately, the calibre of the individual, will determine the appropriate income level.
