Wheeler Heights, Australia Wheeler Heights Medical Centre - Derma Safe Full time

Wheeler Heights Medical Centre is a new Skin Cancer check clinic nestled in the small shopping centre at Wheeler Heights located in the northern suburbs of Northern Sydney. The practice has been operating since January 2024.

We are seeking a **medical receptionist who** will be responsible for patient enquiries, bookings, billing and general administrative duties. We use Best Practice software, Hicaps Eftpos machine, and Hotdoc will also be installed. **Previous experience is preferred**. The hours are from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and likely to increase. Job sharing can also be an option as well.

**Responsibilities**:The duties applicable to the position of a medical receptionist, - Open and close clinic; Greet patients and other callers at the practice in a courteous and efficient manner; Answer the telephone promptly and courteously, - Schedule appointments for patients; Issue patient invoices/receipts as required. Enter and update patient registration details;
- Manage calls from patients; exercise confidentiality with regards to patient care and all aspects of the practice. Maintain reception area in a tidy and welcoming manner. Ensure registration forms, practice information sheets, and information displays are correct and adequately stocked. Assist doctors and nurses by making telephone calls, photocopying, etc., as requested and required. Plus, other directed tasks as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $43,838.41 - $79,742.34 per year

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
