**Job description**:
As the Business Capability Lead, you will work in a contract role with a major MSP working on-site with a major telco. This role is located in the Melbourne CBD and is an initial 12-month contract with potential for extension.

You will work on phase one/discovery phase of a transformation project migrating a major telco's ticketing software to ServiceNow.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the organisation's business capabilities, aligning them with long-term goals and objectives.
- Business Capability Assessment: Evaluate the current state of business capabilities within the organisation, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Capability Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap outlining the sequence and timing of business capability enhancements, considering resource availability and dependencies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of business capabilities, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
- Change Management: Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new business capabilities, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- 5+ years experience in roles with increasing responsibility
- Previous experience working on ServiceNow projects
- Ideally coming from a Telco background
- Strong understanding of business processes, systems, and technologies across multiple functional areas.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing business strategies and initiatives.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
