**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**

The Team Leader Corporate Performance leads the Corporate Performance Team with a commitment and drive to excellence.

In this position the Team Leader Corporate Performance is primarily responsible for leading, managing and developing the Planning and Performance team towards the delivery of the branch purpose whilst providing a high level of service delivery across all business groups.

The main objective of the position is to develop the planning, performance reporting and measurement capabilities of the organisation primarily through the operational planning process to support the broader organisation.

- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualise at a strategic level

- Demonstrated ability to lead, co-ordinate and manage projects and resources effectively to meet planned targets within agreed timelines
- Ability to facilitate groups and present to small and large forums, including to senior management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge
- Experience in local government and/or a political environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Business (or related discipline)
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values - accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence
