The Demand Manager is a key role in ensuring that McCain’s forecasts are fully supported by assumptions and integrated with our marketing and sales plans.

Reporting to the ANZ Planning Manager, this role will be key in taking ownership of the demand planning process and the accuracy of our results. This will be achieved by balancing the objectives of minimising inventory and maximising customer service.

**About The Role**
- Take ownership of the demand planning process, short and long term and provide expert support to those accountable for the demand plan
- Maintain systems and master data, including ABC classification
- Conduct root cause analysis of problems and model alternate scenarios and make recommendations
- Develop the annual category planning analysis and insights for strategic planning purposes
- Maintain the demand planning system
- Create statistical projections and advanced forecasting models
- Develop promotional /initiative plans/R&O
- Conduct periodic reviews of the inventory policy, review/update service level and forecast error targets
- Collaboratively lead and develop the demand planning team

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or similar field would be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in demand planning management in a food or FMCG business
- Advanced experience in SAP APO DP (Demand Planning), paired with statistical forecasting/modelling experience
- Advanced to expert level Excel knowledge
- Proven leadership experience in a complex environment within FMCG will be highly regarded
