**The opportunity**

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Teacher/Leader of Learning (Co-ordinator 2) to join our teaching team and enrich the learning of our students.

**About the opportunity**:
We are looking for a skilled Leader of Learning on a full-time permanent basis, commencing Term 2, 2024.

**Specific Criteria**:

- Work in close collaboration with school & CSPD leaders to plan, implement and evaluate the school’s Improvement Plans in English and Mathematics
- Collaboratively plan and schedule professional learning for teachers to achieve the aims of each Improvement Plan
- Develop schedules for the collection of data to inform next steps in each Improvement Plan
- Analyse data collected to identify and respond to student vulnerability & growth
- Engage CSPD Teacher Educators to work with and consult on teaching practice
- Collaboratively plan, enable & evaluate regular quick win cycles as per each Implementation Plan
- Schedule co-planning, co-teaching and co-reflection aligned to each Implementation Plan and quick win cycle
- Determine formative and summative assessment sources that will be used to inform the progress of each quick win cycle
- Design evaluation instruments that will be used to assess the effectiveness and impact of each quick win cycle
- Actively promote the school’s Agreed Practice for Mathematics and English
- Support staff with the implementation of the new Mathematics and English syllabus documents.

**The Leader of Learning will**:

- Support and implement the goals and values of Catholic education and the strategic priorities of the School
- Demonstrate the highest levels of personal and professional integrity
- Be involved in the selection and induction of new staff
- Guide staff in managing and supporting students on Personalised Plans and Behaviour Plans
- Collaborate with students, staff, leadership and parents in order to support the needs of the community
- Work with CSPD Support & Learning Teams
- Drive the pedagogical vision of the School within the broader educational life of the School
- Lead staff with vision, purpose and a strong commitment to excellence
- Promote and understand the importance of assessment practice, data analysis and feedback to enhance learning
- Prepare students for changing demands of a global community
- Establish a positive relationship with students, their families and the broader community

- An understanding of contemporary pedagogical approaches
- Extensive knowledge of the content and sequence of Key Learning Areas
- Excellence in Literacy and numeracy pedagogy is required
- A strong focus on behaviour management and student wellbeing
- Knowledge and implementation of a variety of online and multimedia programs to support student learning
- A demonstrated understanding of what constitutes effective, developmentally appropriate strategies in learning and teaching programs
- Ability to make content meaningful to students
- A commitment to work with and within a collaborative team environment
