HR Partners by Randstad has an opportunity for a Learning Partner to join our client site in Fortitude Valley. This role is within the People Department reporting to the Learning and Capability Lead. This role is a temp 6 month role Monday-Friday, with 2 days work from home. There will be travel required around South East QLD. Paying $87-$94 per hour, dependent on experience.

About the role:
Reporting to the Learning and Capability Lead, the purpose of this role is to Enrich Quality of Life by implementing the talent and capability training and development strategies, frameworks and governance with a specific focus on safety risk and compliance.

The Learning Partner is responsible for playing a key part in training and developing talent and providing an engaging and memorable experience every step of the way. Through close collaboration with the People Experience team, leaders and other enabling functions across the business, the Learning Partner will support contemporary capability and performance learning solutions to complement and strengthen the team.
- Engage with team or department line managers to clarify short-term priorities for Learning and Development interventions; gather relevant data on performance and current levels of competence; identify gaps in relation to required levels and obtain agreement on required outcomes.
- Design and develop training courses or strands of an L&D program; incorporate specified L&D methodologies and delivery channels; develop relevant content and high-quality learning resources to ensure high levels of learner engagement and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Deliver training courses or programs, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcome
- Highlight shortcomings in processes, systems and procedures and provide specialist learning and capability advice to resolve queries and issues and escalate very complex or contentious issues to others.
- Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships, and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Produce work stream or project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, are appropriately organised to deliver project objectives, and comply with the organisation's project management framework.
- Manage work streams or small projects within a transformational change program related to learning, ensuring integration with related projects; use structured change management methodologies to build acceptance of change and embed desired culture and behaviours.

About the Individual:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Training, Education, Human Resources, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience in these fields and demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Cert IV level in Training and Assessment desirable.
- Work experience in a consultant/business advisory capacity and project management.
- Experience in developing, designing and implementing contemporary learning and development programs with a human centred design approach.
- Experience in partnering and collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, supported by excellent time management and organisation skills.
- Effective oral and written communication and group facilitation skills.
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.
