Medical Receptionist

Heidelberg, Australia Mount Street Medical Centre Full time

_**Mount Street Medical Centre is looking to hire an experienced medical receptionist.**_
- Days of work are Monday shift 9am to 5.30 pm as well as help cover annual leave /sick leave.
- This role requires you to be able to work between 8.30 am and 7 pm as well as some saturdays 8.30am-1pm.
- Knowledge of Best practice preferable.
- You will be the first point of contact for all patients. You must be able to multi-task at a fast pace, answer calls greet patients in a warm and professional manner. Attend to the high demands of our doctors.
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic health knowledge.

Responsibilties include:

- Greeting patients
- Scheduling appointmentts
- Scanning and data management of medical records
- Preparation of patinet accounts
- Medicare batching
- Private billing using Tyro
- Setting up consulting rooms.

**Skills**:

- Willingness to learn and work as a team and autonomously
- Experience with Best Practcie preferable.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and meet set standard.

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Medical administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
