- Description & Requirements- Position Summary_

Infor is searching for an Events/Marketing to assist in the planning and execution of marquee marketing events and programs in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the success of Infor’s Global Demand Generation Marketing organization. As an Event Marketing Advisor/Specialist, you need to have strong project management, work well independently and as a team, have exceptional communication skills, and have the right amount of creative balance with sensibility toward process and budget management. Flexibility with changes and being comfortable in a fast-paced environment is a must. The ability to travel is required as onsite event management will also be a priority.
- A Day in The Life Typically Includes:_
- Project manage a diverse portfolio of marketing events, both in-person and virtually (sponsorships, tradeshows, executive roundtables, seminars, etc.) in conjunction with aligned industry/product teams.
- Manage all aspects of event coordination including budget management, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, accommodations, registration, staffing, on-site production, F&B and logistics.
- Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project. Work closely with marketing managers to develop event plans for each event outlining event details, deliverables and marketing initiatives required to promote the event.
- Implement industry best practices and create innovative event experiences across the team to ensure Infor is communicating the brand consistently and operating cost effectively.
- Eager to jump in and help with ad hoc marketing projects and open to embracing new challenges

What You Will Need:

- Basic Qualifications:_
- 3+ years’ relevant experience in marketing and event production/execution
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Business
- Fluent in English - any additional language is a plus
- Must demonstrate a professional demeanor and be able to interface with internal stakeholders, external vendors and customers at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and priorities while remaining flexible and open to continuous growth and improvement
- Attention to detail is critical

- Previous experience with Marketing in a B2B technology organization
- Experience delivering in person and virtual events
- Familiarity of event management tools (Cvent, etc.)
