**The Opportunity**:
This opportunity calls for a high performing professionals (accounting / stats / data / mathematics background) who are keen to join the Australian Public Service and be trained You will work to a supportive and friendly manager who will invest in you to successfully assimilate into the Commonwealth Government. There is very good opportunity for appointment to a permanent position with the agency or a contract extension (beyond the initial 12 months) should you be kicking goals in the role.

We have multiple roles at APS4, APS5 and APS6 level including:

- APS4 Debt Recovery Officer
- 2 x APS5/6 Revenue Costings
- 2 x APS5/6 Reporting Analysis
- 2 x APS4/5 Costings Officer

**Your Background and Experience**:
These roles will suit a savvy professional who thrives on seeing their work influence key business decisions. You are working at the coalface of where the business happens, and your ability to provide accurate and timely advice will link directly to stronger outcomes. You are a good communicator and enjoy working with people.

Key requirements include:

- Strong, demonstrated experience in a similar role within a professional environment
- Highly developed skills in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to make timely and accurate decisions, factoring in a changing environment in order to support sound management decisions
- Strong analytical ability to understand the drivers behind the figures and tell the story
- Strong work ethic, be able to respond quickly and flexibly to change and operate within a dynamic and fast paced environment

You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for one of these opportunities and will be provided a Baseline clearance before commencing the role.

**Salary / Rate**:

- $75k - $95k + 15.4%Super
- City/North location
- Permanent transfer or 12 month non-ongoing contract with view to permanency
