**Business Support Officer role based in Melbourne**
**How will I help?**
As a Business Support Officer, you will provide superior sales support for Business Development Managers and their associated portfolio of Mortgage Brokers to assist in the achievement of sales targets and growth in profitable business.
You will grow and maintain mutually beneficial business partnerships with key contacts, including our team of State based BDM’s, Home Ownership Services, Retail Banking Network, Operational Risk and Compliance and distribution network teams as well as the wider Operations teams that supports the business.
- Key Responsibilities: _
- Contributing to the development of the Mortgage Broker Distribution Sales team
- Ensuring resolution of customer issues at first point of contact and delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Improving the productivity of sales team members by supporting with various administrative tasks that enable them to have more customer facing time
- Working pro-actively with Brokers who have not used the brand for some time to reignite their support.

**What do I need?**
- Strong knowledge of mortgage broker industry preferred
- Prior experience working with external business introducers (Third Parties, Brokers, Planners, etc) is desirable but not essential
- Hands on experience/exposure to sales & mortgage lending
- Strong consumer mortgage product / process / policy knowledge
- Knowledge of compliance/audit frameworks
- Great communication skills that will assist with building lasting relationships
