Leading Sydney based retail business is seeking a Certified Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt to join their team on a 6 + month day rate contract basis, as a Lean & Process Improvement Specialist.

You will deliver sustainable value and leading end to end process diagnostics across the business which will include finding ways to optimise and uplift process capability and providing a roadmap for continuous improvement and workforce development.

Key objectives to achieve as part of role but not limited to are:

- Challenge current ways of working and review our End to End in store process.
- Working closely and collaborating with other Lean Six Sigma practitioner and SMEs to cross pollinate on process findings and help build COE program at Group level serving as a benchmark for achievements, providing a common roadmap for continuous improvement and workforce development
- Build project pipeline (3-5 years) contributing to the bottom-line business benefits
- Build a centre of excellence by developing skills and uplifting organisational capability to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness holistically across our business.
- Present findings to the steering committee at a senior management level, develop and manage regular progress status reports.
- Proven experience as a Lean Six Sigma Leader with a record of practising and implementing significant changes delivering quantified results
- Thought leadership driving culture changes in an Operational environment
- Black Belt certificate in Lean Six Sigma from a well-recognised institution
- Demonstrated experience using leading related change methodologies and management disciplines (e.g. Customer Journey Mapping, ISO, TQM and/or similar)
- Project Management Skills, PMP or Prince 2 certification will be a plus
- Experience in using tools like Minitab, Power BI or SPC
- Bbachelor degree as a minimum
- Previous experience within retail, FMCG or supply chain will be highly regarded, experience within an operational environment is essential

The role will require some travel within Sydney metropolitan area and potential (not regular) interstate state travel. Day rate will be dependent on experience, circa $1000 - $1250 / day, dependent on experience.
