ABB’s Motion Services Business is currently seeking an inspiring Operations Manager who is passionate, confident, decisive, and strategically minded. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to operations including delivery of Workshop, Field Service, Spare Parts, Contract & Project Management, HSEQ, and Continuous Improvement. The role reports to the Local Divisional Manager, Motion Services and can be based in either Moorebank, NSW or Notting Hill, Victoria.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Developing business action plans for the Motion Services Business Area
- Supporting the annual budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources
- Ensuring that the organization takes an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations on quality, service levels, and lead time and has a full understanding and culture of continuous improvement behaviour, methodology, and processes
- Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while monitoring and reporting progress and results
- Providing support to sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view
- Supporting for HSE process, Policy, including QA, Assets, and Calibration. Provides support for facilities management process and policy

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position leading the operational function responsibility for a service environment
- Demonstrated delivery of Continuous Improvement knowledge and the implementation of these projects to drive operational efficiency
- Demonstrated working knowledge of operational workplace practices and draw on experience through the industry to enhance the process and policies of the organization
- Experience in SAP is advantageous
- An inspiring leader who is passionate, confident, emotionally intelligent, decisive, and strategic
- Provide support for HSE process, Policy, including QA, assets, and calibration
