About You

As a Casual Sessional within Vocational Education, you will be mainly responsible for the delivery of course material, assessing students and the supervision of students enrolled in selected courses within the program.

You will participate in the program’s continuing review of course content and development, delivery, teaching methods (including on-line delivery methods) and methods of students’ assessment. Your performance will be underpinned by participation in relevant activities which ensure your vocational competence meets and/or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.

We are looking for casual sessional teachers competent to deliver in the following courses.
- Design History & Theory CUADES305
- Design interior residential Lighting MSFID4013
- Design colour schemes for Interiors & exterior MSFID4016
- Create 3D digital models (Revit) CUAANM313

Key Responsibilities
- Sound knowledge on history with demonstrated experience in delivering to a large group face to face, management of large numbers for project work & assessment.
- Digital design practices related to delivery of engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experiences across our various platforms. (Revit, bonus
- Auto CAD, Adobe Cloud suite & SketchUp)
- Creation and maintenance of design documentation, Australian standards, and technical documentation that met industry standards.
- A qualification in the TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Demonstrated experience of teaching in Vocational Education is desirable.
