**In this role, you'll**:
Provide assistance with data collection, analyses and modelling, coordination of project proposals and the development of systems to assist in the management of traffic and safety management programs.
- The Transport Analyst Officer will also be responsible for:
- Assisting with the assessment of road safety and traffic management issues by data extraction, general analysis and reporting.
- Assisting the technical officers and planners by conducting field investigations for the preparation of project concepts.
- Developing systems that improve the administration of the traffic and safety management programs, issues and work proposals to support quality project scoping.
- Providing administrative, financial and contract engagement support services to support the unit.
- Contributing to the provision of feedback in relation to programs and projects for media and ministerial enquiries and community response and participate in community consultation as it relates to traffic and safety programs to ensure that the unit has a customer focus.

**This is a fixed term part time role 3 days per week up to 30 June 2025 - location is flexible across NSW.**

**About you**

You have proven experience preparing sound data analysis with the ability to transfer skills to traffic and road safety data.

You have analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to undertake research, analyse information and present and interpret graphical/spatial data.

You have the ability to work collaboratively and use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to proactively build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

You’re proactive and use your initiative and attention to detail to get things done and resolve issues independently.

You have experience working in teams to tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.
