**About the role**

Stamford Grand Adelaide is one of Adelaide's premier beach side resorts located in Glenelg and has access to Jetty Road's vibrant retail shopping strip. The hotel features 220 luxury rooms and all the trimmings of a resort style property.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer service driven Food and Beverage Manager to join the food and beverage team. Bring your creative flair and hospitality knowledge to the Hotel in this hands-on role.

As the Food and Beverage Manager you will drive improvements to business processes, guest satisfaction and employee experience. You will be a highly motivated individual and experienced in driving continuous improvement, revenue, compliance, cultural change, and employee development and engagement.

This position is ‘hands on’ in all aspects of the food and beverage operation. You will own the operation like it’s your own, ensuring both company and legislative compliance and be driven to ensure our hotel offers the highest standard of service to create memorable dining experiences.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Excellent leadership and hospitality skills, with a positive and proactive approach to exceed guest expectations;
- Demonstrated ability to maximise all food and beverage space;
- Working closely with the entire F&B team to promote consistency across the standards and quality of service provided throughout the outlets in the Hotel;
- Monitoring inventory level to ensure sufficient stocks and minimise wastage;
- Monitoring all guest feedback and complaints and ensuring that they are resolved in a prompt and professional manner;
- An understanding of F&B cost and control, including manning and operating costs;
- Providing feedback, coaching and guidance to team members to ensure a positive and proactive service environment;
- Work closely with the team to ensure compliance in terms of internal policies and procedures, food safety (HACCP) and WHS components.

**The required skills and experience for this role include**:

- Previous experience in managing a diverse array of food & beverage outlets and offerings, including a sizeable banquet operation
- Passion for developing, coaching and mentoring our dedicated food and beverage employees
- The ability to meet financial objectives including wage and stock control, cost management, revenue and budgeting
- Extensive food & wine knowledge plus well versed in SA’s supply networks
- Strong attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of personal presentation and grooming
- Good computer literacy skills
- Current Nationally Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol
- The ability to obtain a Responsible Person Badge
