As a rapidly growing Nursing Agency, our mission is to link nurses and clients together in the best possible working arrangements. We recruit nurses to a casual pool and place them in various clinical settings across the Sydney Metropolitan area and New South Wales at large on a temporary or shift by shift basis to cover gaps left by regular staff.
The Administration Officer is a multi-faceted, hands-on part-time role, the primary purposes of which are to ensure efficiency of service provision, and providing support to the Administration Manager where required.
With a hybrid work model, the role will see you both working in our Chippendale office and remotely as part of our shared rostered responsibility for night duty remote after-hours on call service coordination. There are flexible working arrangements available including half-days and after hours support on weekends.
**Duties**:
- General administrative work
- Monitoring opportunities for staff performance management
- Maintain and build internal filing system and contact lists
- Ensuring compliance with NSW Health guidelines and other regulations
- Building positive long-term relationships with clients and nurses
- Recording and presenting key data, including meeting Key Performance Indicators
- Facilitating the training and performance management of staff at an assistant level
- 1-2 shifts After Hours On Call Support Coordination per week
**Key Qualities**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a mature and professional approach to customer service and performance management
- Excellent presentation skills and is confident and attentive to clients and nursing staff
- Strong computer skills including the ability to use MS Word, Outlook, Excel
- Ability to work independantly and delegate in a fast-paced environment often under significant time pressures while consistently documenting their work.
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to feedback/escalate issues to management in a professional manner where appropriate
- Motivated and driven to grow with the business
- Dedicated, committed, hardworking team member capable of taking initiative and working independently where appropriate
**This role cannot be worked 100% remotely, or 100% after hours.**
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 22 per week
**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
