Within this Centre of Excellence sit Digital Marketing Communications, the control centre for multi-channel direct customer contact combining marketing, engagement, and service messaging in one team. A cross functional and collaborative team that assist the business to understand and realise the full capability of our digital product suite.

About the role

We currently have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Digital Marketing Optimisation Specialist to join the Optimisation team in a full-time position.

Reporting into the Digital Marketing Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of digital products and services, as well as leading, creating and delivering the optimisation roadmap. Leveraging data and insights of online behaviour to identify opportunities for improvement of our customers experience. You’ll also facilitate and enable inclusive design by planning for and prioritising accessible design, requirements, development, and testing.

Working across a range of products you’ll run an optimisation program from ideation through to a testable solution, working together with UX Designers. You will bring your prior experience with analytics platforms for both quantitative and qualitative identification, as well as practical experience using a website CMS for day to day updates. Some UX experience and exposure to CRO practices, Optimizely, Episerver, and JIRA is desirable but not essential. Previous experience working in a highly regulated environment will be advantageous.

**This role can be based in the following locations**: Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, or Bendigo for the days that you are in the office, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.

About you

**As the Digital Marketing Optimisation Specialist, you will**:
Continually hypothesize, test, and make recommendations that will drive changes to content, the way we present our products, and our customer's online experience
Use web analytics tools to analyse the customer journey online and identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, web-based methodologies, and development plans
Use the concepts of A/B multivariate testing and personalisation to optimise user experience on sites to drive conversion rate
Review content to ensure accuracy, adherence to appropriate style, tone of voice, and is optimised for search engines and site performance
Manage Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and Experimentation systems across digital marketing platforms
Champion Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

**To be successful in the role, you'll have**:
Demonstrated prior experience in a similar Digital Marketing Optimisation Specialist / UX Researcher / Analyst or Conversion Rate Optimisation role ideally within a regulated industry
A strong understanding of customer interaction with the online environment (web and mobile) with a keen appreciation of user experience and customer centred design
A proven track record of delivering successful, data-driven Marketing Automation campaigns/solutions
Hands on experience with Content Management Systems (Episerver or similar) Google Analytics, Optimizely (or similar).
Understanding of development standards and HTML
Knowledge of WCAG 2.0, Search Engine Optimisation, web standards
Exceptional analytical, numerical, and reporting skills
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
A highly collaborative style with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
