The School of Business plays an active role in working with community partners, focusing on academic programs, and undertaking applied research which are community and globally relevant. The School's committed staff come from diverse disciplinary backgrounds and the School offers a range of programs enriched with industry learning opportunities.

Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), the Head of School and Dean (Business) is a key member of the Executive Team and will lead the future development of a re-energised School, foster a high-performance culture, and guide major strategic projects including a “once in a generation” curriculum transformation project. The Head of School is also responsible for:

- Quality and performance across teaching and learning, research, community and industry engagement,
- The sustainability and quality of academic offerings and associated student experience, and;
- Planning and aligning School resources and staffing.

UniSQ is seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic academic leader with a passion for innovative teaching and learning programs grounded in impactful research, generated through outstanding industry partnerships. Leadership of a diverse team, utilising a well-developed capacity to motivate, develop, empower and mentor to achieve excellence will be critical.
