**This non-for-profit organization**, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic manager to support their Allied Health Team in providing exceptional care to NDIS Aged Care patients over 65 with Motor Neuron & Kennedy's Disease.

**Part time and Full Time Opportunities available. All levels of experience encouraged to apply.**

As an Allied Health Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical skills and knowledge to our team of clinicians, while ensuring that our clients receive exceptional care.

**About the Role**:

- Provide high-quality clinical skills and knowledge, mentoring and coaching to staff in the area of expertise
- Ensure a high standard of screening, comprehensive assessment, and care planning using a strength-based approach, key worker principles, and evidence-based practice
- Ensure the principles of self-management goals are embedded in accordance with identified needs, from a health education, prevention, motivational, capacity building, and enabling perspective, and monitor the client's progress against the care plan
- Ensure all clinicians operate within their scope of practice
- Ensure effective functioning of the service through monitoring the accuracy and appropriateness of documentation of client information, statistics, and educational material
- Embed the service principles of place-based approaches within the community and ensure the right information and support is made available to clients
- Work in collaboration with the General Manager to develop, implement and monitor clinical governance frameworks and practice principles across all disciplines
- Ensure appropriate representation and escalation of clinical service issues utilizing problem-solving and risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure that clinical practice in the teams is consistent with the stated policy and procedures, and operational guidelines and work instructions
- Uphold Professional and Clinical Governance principles to maintain the highest level of service quality and safety

This organisation is committed to providing excellent care to NDIS aged care patients presenting with Motor Neuron Disease and Kennedy's disease. They are and is involved in research and management of MND, which provides you with first-hand exposure to new supportive technologies and studies.

**Requirements**:

- Preference for previous Management or Team Lead experience
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology or Physiotherapy
- AHPRA or SPA registration
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Drivers licence and own vehicle
