**The Role**:
The role is responsible for the provision of governance support and advice to the State Planning Commission and its Committees and Panels to ensure they operate effectively and efficiently and comply with all relevant statutory obligations.

**About You**:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:

- High-performing and responsive in providing Executive Officer support and all associated responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of governance principles and policies and processes, including in a public policy context.
- Ability and capacity to prioritise, work effectively under pressure, and deal with multiple competing priorities to produce required results.
- High level of attention to detail, and the ability to deliver and maintain consistently high quality and professional documentation and materials.
- Ability to work independently and under limited supervision to solve problems and deliver outcomes within an identified area of responsibility.

**Special Conditions**
- Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
- Role is available on a term basis for up to 12 months.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 - $83,273 min - $92,614 max
