**The Opportunity**
We're looking for a Government Accommodation Officer to join our Across Government Leasing Team and who will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of leased and owned commercial accommodation across the State.

The Department is the South Australian Government's single point of contact for all commercial property market requirements in the leasing of government office accommodation. Our Team is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to allow the delivery of government’s office accommodation standards and other whole-of-government targets for effective accommodation use. Primary responsibilities are the management of leases in privately owned buildings, the management of government owned office buildings and day to day property management including payment and collection of rent.

The role will provide a high level of effective customer service and contribute to the development of a range of property and accommodation strategies that are based upon government strategic plans and objectives, and cost effective property solutions.

The role will deliver excellence in service delivery, drive strategic outcomes, contribute to economic development and job creation and promote a culture of “one Government”.

**Qualifications/Licences**
Tertiary qualifications in Property, Business, Administration and/or Law will be highly regarded.

A current driver’s license is essential.

**Special Conditions**

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

**Remuneration**
ASO5 - $84,522 to $94,003 per annum
