Part of the Department of Enterprise, Industry and Trade cluster, Create NSW focuses specifically on achieving the NSW Government’s priority of fostering excellence in arts, music, screen and culture in NSW. We work collaboratively with artists and arts workers, the arts and cultural sector and our partners within government to provide a range of support services including management of grants of varying scales to recipient government and non-government organisations; overseeing more than $2.5b in cultural infrastructure projects to create the spaces where arts can flourish; and managing a portfolio of arts and heritage properties predominantly leased to cultural organisations.

**About the Role**

The Project Administrator will undertake a range of tasks, research, administration support and reporting to assist in the delivery of designated cultural infrastructure projects associated with the Government’s Cultural Infrastructure Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the shaping of arts and culture in NSW.

Key accountabilities include:

- Provide project and operational support associated with the delivery of major cultural infrastructure projects including procurement, assisting with financial management including invoicing, liaison with Finance, monitoring and reporting on project cost plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
- Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology.
- Undertake basic research and analysis in assigned project areas and contribute to the preparation of project briefs to support informed decision making and planning.
- Draft communications to relevant stakeholders to provide updates on project status and implementation issues.
- Coordinate project meetings and carry out meeting secretariat duties.

**About You**

To be successful for this role, you can deliver on multiple tasks concurrently and accurately in a fast -paced environment with mínimal direction and supervision. Your experience in finance, procurement, supporting infrastructure-related project and program management and/or community and cultural related infrastructure programs, precinct planning or significant project delivery is essential to this role. Strong communication skills are critical as you will be providing project updates to various stakeholders.
