About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.

About you
As our Regional Quality Officer, you will have a heightened attention to detail. You’ll develop and manage tools to monitor quality and compliance for our GP Training team members across regional and local program delivery. To thrive in this role, you’ll have:
experience in a quality assurance program within a health sector or not-for-profit environment
ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
a strong analytical focus.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Training Quality Lead, you’ll support the implementation and maintenance of the education and training quality framework and system. In addition, you’ll:
support with coaching and feedback for GP Training team members around quality assurance
conduct regular process audits and act on areas of non-compliance, or where improvements are identified to ensure there is an effective and continuous review and improvement process across the organisation.
provide feedback to team members on quality results and provide formal reporting to management on team performance
ensure that the overall performance and quality of the program delivery is meeting expectations and is continually monitored for improvement.
