Our client,
**Toowoomba Hospital Foundation **is seeking a full-time Events Manager to join their growing team This is a truly dynamic and exciting role that will suit a passionate, experienced events person, who has operated and supported the running of major events.

Toowoomba Hospital Foundation supports the Toowoomba community by helping to improve local health facilities and services at Toowoomba Hospital, Baillie Henderson Hospital and Mt Lofty Heights Nursing Home.

As the Events Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to develop and deliver innovative events for THF as well as developing a brand aligned marketing and events strategy.

**_Key Responsibilities of the Role_**
- Manage the events team and other relevant team members to ensure the required level of sponsorship, volunteers, raffle prizes and donations are achieved for all THF events
- Work with the Marketing Team on promotion and booking procedures
- Manage and track the financial budget of events for optimal efficiency and effectiveness and to meet budget targets
- Prepare relevant material for individual events including PowerPoint presentations, running sheets speaker notes, handouts etc
- Upon completion of each event undertake a detailed analysis and report to management on the outcomes
- Assist in physical set up, pack up, delivery to venues, collection from venues, marketing collateral distribution, packing gift bags etc for events

**_Skills/ Attributes and Knowledge:_**
- Committed to building strong and productive partnerships, you will be someone that succeeds in building a network of suppliers and partners that can help bring our events program to life.
- With strong commercial acumen, you will ensure our events program generates income to support the THF’s activities and helps build our brand and reputation with key stakeholders. You will have demonstrated experience managing events with you as the lead.
- You will have at least 3 years of events and project management experience that includes large events where you were responsible for revenue generation.
- You will have experience managing teams and a proven track record in the financial management of events.
- You need to be flexible, highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a passion for events. If you are creative and used to thinking outside the box, as well as being eager to contribute new ideas and be outcome focused - this job is for you
- Good IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Publisher and outlook) with confidence as well as excellent communication skills are paramount in successfully executing this position
