The Marketing Account Specialist will play an important role as part of the Financial Services team, working closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders other marketing to successfully implement the David Jones Financial Services marketing programs, in line with the business’ marketing strategy and Vision2025+.

With the launch of our new credit card this month, the Marketing Account Specialist will focus on bringing the card proposition to life by curating events and activities that inspire our customers _like no other_.

The role will suit an analytical, creative and engaging marketing professional with a strategic outlook and a proactive approach to deliver upon marketing objectives in an automatous and accountable way with opportunity to write your own agenda.

**What does the role involve?**
- Assist in the development of the David Jones Financial Services marketing strategy,
- Develop and nurture relationships with brand partners to curate events and activities throughout the calendar year
- Work closely with Customer Insights team to analyse customer data and reporting to create appropriate marketing campaigns based on customer segments that drive engagement and retain customers
- Collaborate with payment partnerships to deliver upon growth objectives in Financial Services
- Budget management including campaign cost forecasting, reporting on campaign performance and results based on agreed success metrics

**Who are we looking for?**
- A degree qualification in Marketing or a related field
- Extensive marketing experience with Direct Marketing and Online Marketing essential, Cards Acquisition and/or Lifecycle Marketing experience ideal
- Exceptional time management skills, with demonstrated ability to multitask
- Proven budget management capabilities
- Strong campaign analytical and reporting experience
- Excellent project management skills to oversee multiple projects at once
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with specific experience working with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be advantageous
