**The role**
We are currently recruiting for one of the market dominating players within the Engineering Plastics field for a Technical Sales position to be based in Melbourne.
You’ll be looking after existing clients in the Melbourne metro region with the occasional trip to regional VIC. The primary client base is Fabricators/Engineering workshops, but you’ll also deal with end users to provide technical support and build brand presence. End users will be in a diverse range of industries including Construction, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals.
You’ll also develop new business and expand the client base. Using your technical aptitude and strong people skills, you will provide solutions to clients, negotiate pricing, chase projects, and ensure the company is the first supplier in mind for customers.
It’s an on-the -road position, out visiting clients. You’ll pop to the office a few times a week to interact with the team and liaise with the Product Manager.
You will be fully supported in this new role by the Product Manager and comprehensive product training will be provided.

**About you**

You’ll have a strong technical aptitude, with also demonstrated sales capability. We are looking for someone who enjoys building new relationships and chasing new business opportunities, with also the strong desire to service existing clients and ensure repeat business.
