**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a dynamic Learning and Development Officer to join our Risk Management team within Health, Safety and Staff Wellbeing Directorate. You will be responsible for facilitation and development of various health and safety programs.

Are you a creative person who can design and implement training programs?
- Ability to juggle competing deadlines and have a high level of communication and writing skills
- Passionate about delivering learner-centred training and development to staff
- You are adaptable with exceptional time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating learning and development programs, in particular e-learning content across a wide range of business areas

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
