This Government Organisation is looking for a Senior Service Desk Officer to join their service desk team in a 12 month contract. The organisation is located in Sydney CBD area. You will have the opportunity to work as a part of a government organisation in a friendly team environment. This is a hybrid role and you will have the opportunity to WFH a few days a week.
**Your new role**

As Service Desk Analyst you will support hundreds of users with Level 1/2 technical issues, including Helpdesk. You will be responsible for answering the phone and being that first point of contact providing top tier customer service. You will work in a small team, delivering IT support to end users, which may include Windows 7/10, Active Directory and password resets, Outlook, Skype for business and Exchange. You will be troubleshooting Hardware and Software.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- To be a fit for this role you will have minimum 2 years recent experience in a Level 1 and Level 2 Helpdesk role
- Have excellent customer service
- Experience in Microsoft technologies - Active Directory, Windows operating systems
- Excellent communication skills and confident to speak to stakeholders at all levels.
- A pro-active, solution focused, and customer centric work approach.
- Previous experience working in a Government environment would be advantageous
- Excellent customer service skills
