**THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Associate Director of Nursing will be responsible for managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with Australian health care standards, developing effective communication channels with department heads and medical staff, participating in policy and procedure development, managing budgets and resources and providing leadership and mentoring to ensure a positive work environment.
**THE ESSENTIALS**
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and current AHPRA registration
- A minimum of 5 years nursing experience with at least 2 of those in a leadership role
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting would be advantageous
- Excellent communication, collaboration and organisation skills
- Experience with all relevant regulatory requirements and Australian standards
