Daracon Group is one of NSW’s leading civil engineering contractors. We have a steady stream of major projects within the Newcastle region which include road upgrades, bridges, earthworks, rail, services, station upgrades, public spaces, landscaping and subdivisions.

We have the need for a **Project Planner** to join our head office team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity available for a driven project professional who wants to make an impact. This is a full time position based out of Beresfield working as part of the planning and project controls team.

You will be a key team member on our projects and will assist our estimating and project teams in preparation and updating of tender and execution project schedules / programs ranging in value from $15M - $150M.

- Project planning experience in any discipline; or
- Civil engineer / construction / project manager experience and are looking for an exciting change and stable work.

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Experience using planning software on projects (Primavera or Microsoft Project);
- Excellent communication skills in both a verbal and written capacity;
- Attention to detail and a logic driven mind set;
- An innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the norm; and
- The ability to work in an autonomous role within a supportive team environment.

**Experience in the following would be advantageous however training is also available**:

- Primavera P6 or Primavera Cloud planning tools;
- Transport for NSW contracts;
- Power BI or other data analytics tools; and / or
- Delay analysis.
