Dandenong South Preschool Centre is a community-based not for profit kindergarten, managed by a volunteer Committee of Management. We aim to provide safe, warm and welcoming spaces that promote learning and social connection. Dandenong South Preschool is committed to providing a child safe environment and staff must demonstrate their ongoing responsibility to ensuring child safety.

**Work Days of the Role**

Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

**Hours of Work of the Role**

15 to 20 Hours contact time

**Description**
- Dandenong South Preschool is seeking experienced, highly motivated, and engaging Early Childhood ECT & Educators to support our 3- and 4-years old kindergarten program. In this role, you will support the staff in developing, implementing, and evaluating a high-quality educational program. Your responsibilities will include documenting children's learning and development and working with children and families to ensure a positive program experience. To be considered for this role, the following experiences and qualifications are essential:

- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Frameworks and NQS
- Experience in working with children with additional needs
- Ability to work well as part of a team with staff, committee, parents and the community

**Qualifications**
- Suitable Qualification in Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
- Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
- Current Working With Children's Check
- Protecting children
- mandatory reporting certificate

Applicants will be expected to have knowledge and understanding of the child safe standards
