Social Minds, the leading Social Therapy centre in South-West Sydney, is on the lookout for a dynamic Bookkeeping Specialist to contribute to our operations in Camden and Gregory Hills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage various financial and bookkeeping tasks, providing crucial support to our team.
- Handle financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with invoicing and financial reporting via our Xero Platform.
- Ensure precise communication of financial information to our Director and dedicated staff.
- Collaborate with local NDIS coordinators regarding financial matters.
- Contribute to the efficient management of attendance records and staff hour submissions.
- Extend personalised financial support to parents and students, addressing inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Degree or completed course in finance, accounting, or related fields.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Proficiency in using financial management software, particularly Xero.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside solid organisational abilities.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing priorities.
- A positive and approachable demeanour that resonates with our team and families.
- A genuine passion to contribute to the financial success and growth of our organisation.
- Possession of a current WWCC and a valid driver's license.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- CAMDEN, NSW 2570: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
- Xero: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
