Manager, Regulatory Change Portfolio - 12 months secondment opportunity

This role will also have the opportunity to work with regulatory affairs matters, which may include: regulatory interactions, reviews, inquires, notices, commitments and industry recommendations post review/findings.

**What you'll do**
- Support proactive planning based on the regulatory agenda and feed into the bank's prioritisation process for regulatory initiatives.
- Work closely with the first
- and second-line stakeholders during project delivery, providing on-going oversight and advise on regulatory intent and objectives.
- Produce reporting and management information on industry trends, upcoming regulation, reportable remediation activities and project management updates on regulatory initiatives to senior management and steering committees.
- Take a holistic overview of the banking landscape, regulatory environment, and risk management function to coordinate and inform as well as a detailed knowledge of ING's key activities and processes across retail and wholesale banking.
- Inform senior management on monthly basis on new publications, requirements and industry trends or issues.
- Co-ordinate business impact analyses and establish working groups for new regulations Completing deliverables as defined for the Project/Activity

**What we're looking for**
- Working knowledge of prudential and conduct regulation for an ADI and understanding of regulatory contact processes
- Ability to drive change and identify and pursue solutions.
- Working knowledge of the Business drivers and the strategic direction of the Bank and the role of Risk Management in achieving those objectives
- Awareness of current industry threats, trends and issues that potentially affect the Bank's business.
- Minimum 5 -7 years' practical experience in a compliance, regulatory or legal function in the financial services industry
- Analytical skills - ability to proactively identify and diagnose compliance related issues quickly and provide business-oriented solutions - a "can do" approach with ability to find "outside of the box" solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence with all levels of management (both internally and externally), make recommendations and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
