This role is based in the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Change Team who provide change management expertise and advice to project teams, uplifting the maturity of the design and implementation of change management initiatives across the portfolio and creating greater visibility of the level and impact of change within and across the university.

**Why your Role Matters**
As Change Manager in the EPMO you will play a key role in advising, leading and coaching stakeholders to develop change management plans that enable business areas and impacted teams to successfully adopt and embed changes. Your focus will be ensuring business readiness activities and plans are included in project plans and working with project teams to ensure each business area is sufficiently prepared for the impact of the change ahead of “go-live” events and stable business as usual practice beyond this.

This role balances solving complex people issues with ensuring timely and quality delivery of initiatives and programs. We’re looking for an excellent communicator and negotiator to work with all levels of stakeholders to coach and support business leaders and their teams through change. You’ll bring a strong background in implementing medium to large sized change initiatives in complex environments alongside practiced consulting and influencing skills to support quality outcomes from start to business as usual.

The Change Manager reports to the Head of Change Management (EPMO) and has no direct reports.

**Skills and Experience**:You will hold a relevant qualification (such as Prosci), or equivalent level of knowledge, and 6+ years’ experience in leading and successfully implementing change management strategies and facilitating organisational preparation (ideally in the higher education sector) alongside:

- Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering change activities and integrating change management activities with success,
- Extensive experience in providing change advice and support across multiple projects or program streams
- A strong analytical mind with proven capacity to exercise initiative, flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems.
- Demonstrated understanding and extensive experience in providing change advice and support across multiple projects or program streams, managing competing deadlines for self and others.
- Excellent relationship, negotiation and communication skills, comfortable liaising with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated success working effectively and collaboratively on initiatives with a range of people at different levels within an organisation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
