**About the role**
Team Leader Trades position is responsible for leading the signs and graphics team to deliver trade-based work that ensures Parramatta’s public domain and facilities are maintained and improved to enhance the appearance of the city and to promote Parramatta as Australia’s next great city
**On a daily basis you will be responsible for**:
- Leading the team by overseeing all activities, planning, organising, and deciding how to accomplish tasks, set goals, communication, and distributing information within the team.
- Undertake planning, goal setting, task & resource allocation for the team, to ensure a program of works are completed effectively and meet the approved service standard.
- Undertake the day-to-day management of staff and their assigned tasks.
- Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.
**About You**
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum certificate III qualification in signs and graphics (Trade qualification)
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s License (Class ‘C’) (MR Desirable)
- Possession of a construction industry certificate “White Card”
- Asbestos Awareness
**Experience**:
- Relevant experience leading a team in an operational work environment.
- Relevant experience in the area of sign writing
**What’s on Offer**
We are offering an attractive $73,354.81 to $80,782.59 in Council’s Salary Structure plus 11% superannuation.
