**Your new role**:
The Engineering and Configuration Analyst is responsible for implementing and managing the Configuration Management processes and systems for the Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) Project in accordance with the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).

Reporting to the Configuration and Technical Data Manager you will:

- Liaise and contribute to the day-to-day conduct of configuration tasks including managing data, parts, software and documents in soft and hardcopy in accordance with the CMP.
- Coordinate with project staff (particularly the project engineers), other contractors and organisations including the customer in management and resolution of CM issues and ensuring the configuration the DDGs throughout the DCE Project is known and can be accurately reported on.
- Provide advice, support and training as required to the DCE project teams on CM matters.
- Manage the development of new processes where required and coordinate their development, test and verification prior to inclusion in the CMP.

**About you**:
**As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have**:

- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Engineering degree or relevant technical diploma or certificate, or related discipline or trade skill with suitable experience
- Demonstrated extensive experience in one or more engineering environments in a CM role, including at least one defence project
- Significant experience successfully managing a CM or related technical team, including interfacing with engineering / technical personnel
- Significant experience in use of recognised CM tools and associated databases

**Clearances**:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
