Smiling Mind is expanding from mindfulness to a broader suite of programs that enable mental fitness and overall wellbeing. Our primary impact audiences are primary school aged children and the adults that support them (parents in the home and teachers in schools), whilst also delivering adjacent programs for the general adult population.

We are looking for a creative, talented and organised Marketing & Content Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering brand driven marketing and communications activities. This role will focus on boosting brand visibility and sentiment across multiple channels, particularly digital and social media, while also building awareness of our products and services. This position involves managing the creation of high-quality, audience-focused content that adheres to best practice and the latest market and channels trends.

The Marketing and Content Coordinator, reporting directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager, will play a key role in executing our marketing strategy at a tactical level.

This role will manage creative development through collaboration with internal staff, stakeholders and agencies. The Marketing and Content Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring marketing and communications tactical performance and using data to drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong organisational and time management skills to ensure that activities are delivered on time, align with briefs, stay within budget, and to the highest quality.

- Skilled in storytelling, with the ability to capture and convey Smiling Mind’s story through various formats, aiming to inspire and engage key stakeholders.
- A creative, with the ability to create compelling content and digital design that resonates with diverse audiences, across various channels with a strong focus on social media and digital marketing.
- Able to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to positively influence collaboration on various projects and initiatives.
- Comfortable with change and uncertainty, you are adaptable and resilient in the face of shifting priorities and focus areas.
- Extremely organised and skilled in meeting deadlines, with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.
- Inquisitive, with a high degree of curiosity. Able to research in order to create unique, compelling content from key insights and performance reports.
- Able to analyse and interpret data effectively to inform decisions and effective solutions.
- Able to work independently and possess strong initiative.

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- 4 + years experience in digital marketing and content creation, ideally in a digital, health promotion / agency setting with a focus on social media.
- An awareness of preventative mental health's role in youth development and eagerness to learn more.
- Experience managing external agencies throughout content development and marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Keynote, PowerPoint, Sketch, and Squarespace. Experience using technology and AI to support content creation and project management.
- Experience in creating reports, plans, presentations, and other marketing materials.

Bonus points if you have:

- Familiarity with Google Suite, Notion, Asana, HubSpot, and Squarespace.
- Experience with photography, animation, video production, and editing.
- Experience in start-up or scale-up environments.
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Communications, Copywriting, or Marketing.
