This is an exciting opportunity to join our Surgical Services Department and work within a dynamic Acute General Surgery and Transplant Ward alongside our AGSU and Transplant team of nurses, doctors, and Allied Health Staff.

**About the role**:

- Daily tasks will include ward clerk duties, answering phones, compiling patient charts, providing the Nurse Unit Manager support with rostering, recruitment, ordering of stock, assisting with audit and data entry, planning for education, and general administrative duties
- Working hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (this role will be shared with 1 other staff member)
- You will be supported through an induction and training plan including face-to-face and online training, as well as a mentor to help ease the transition

**Requirements**:

- Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent
