**What you'll be doing**

To assist in the development and maintenance of NSW Health Pathology’s Statewide Business Intelligence (BI) platform and the timely delivery of insights to its corporate portfolios and operational areas.
- Tertiary qualifications from a relevant discipline such as IT, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Science, or professional experience in business intelligence.
- Experience in manipulating and transforming data through use of one or more of the following tools / languages: Excel, PowerPivot, SQL, Python, R, SSIS or Data Factory.
- Experience in modelling and aggregating datasets through use of one or more of the following tools / languages: Excel / Pivot tables, PowerPivot, DAX, M, Power BI, SQL, Python, R, SSAS / tabular models.
- Demonstrated awareness of cloud data and analytics solutions such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in, or exposure to, data visualisation techniques, including the use of Microsoft Power BI or similar software.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills.
- Ability to effectively document processes, procedures and/or code in a collaborative environment including source control, writing briefs and technical manuals for management and staff.

**Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
