**About the role**
As Coordinator (Parks and Sport) you will be accountable for the delivery of maintenance and operational services to Council controlled Parks, Sporting Areas, Reserves, and Roadside Vegetation across the City.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and monitor maintenance programs for Council parks, sports grounds, reserves, and roadside vegetation
- Coordinate and direct teams and contractors to ensure all tasks are completed within service level time frames
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines
- Ensure continuous improvement of services and staff
- Foster and encourage professional development of the team
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Horticulture/Landscaping or similar
- Experience in a supervisory role in the field or similar
- The ability to be resilient and agile
**What's on offer?**
This is a Permanent position Officers Level 4-5 with a salary package commencing at $82,260 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.
